Gorman Rupp is one of the nation’s largest manufacturers of pumps used in applications from waste water treatment plants to dental drills. The company was founded in 1933 in Mansfield, Ohio and has made its reputation on quality, timeliness, and a fair price. Because of these shared ideals, NCS has chosen Gorman Rupp to be the first featured project of 2010.

In 2009 Gorman Rupp saw a need to increase their factory size to take advantage of their increased market share in the pump industry. This meant that new parking lots and truck docks would need to be constructed to facilitate additional employees and truck traffic. The site-work portion of the project was awarded to Deer Creek Excavating from Bellville, Ohio. They sub-contracted the curbs, sidewalks and concrete paving to NCS. Many compliments have been received by Gorman Rupp and its construction management team on the quality and speed that the concrete was constructed.
