Our Story
Founded in 1980 in Norwalk, Ohio by William and Marjorie Newcomer, Newcomer Concrete Services started as a small site concrete subcontractor specializing in curbs, sidewalks, and pavement. Through steady growth in the 1980s and 1990s, the company expanded its workforce, invested in advanced curb machine technology, secured municipal and commercial contracts, and opened a Columbus office to serve a broader region of the state.
In 2000, Dave and Jeff Newcomer purchased the company and led its expansion into the Cleveland and I-77 corridor while broadening services to include excavation and exterior site concrete. Today, with more than 100 employees and a continued focus on quality, service, and value, NCS is positioned for long-term success and a future strengthened by its transition toward employee ownership.
